Patrick Desmet

Patrick Desmet

COO - Chief Operating Officer

Patrick Desmet is currently a minority shareholder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Gonzalez Design Group, a privately held middle market group of companies, consisting of an automotive, defense and aerospace robotics system integrator, a full-service staffing company and a property management company. He has held numerous leadership roles and in 2004 took on the role of COO. Patrick was born and raised in in Harper Woods, MI. He attended Wayne State University where he earned his Mechanical Engineering Degree. Patrick is married and has three children.

Human Resources / Payroll Manager

Debi Carver has been with Gonzalez since January of 1996 and is a Human Resources / Payroll Manager. She specializes in confidential employee relations, hiring and monitoring employees, payroll/benefits management and maintaining corporate policies and guidelines. Debi continues to maintain her knowledge of all Human Resources requirements with her most recent HR Professional Certification from the Michigan Chamber of Commerce along with an HR Certification from Michigan State University.

Jeff Stenzel

Jeff Stenzel has been with Gonzalez since June 2020 and is a Business Development Manager. Jeff grew up in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, and attended Ferris State University. After earning his degree, he spent ten years as a Design Engineer with General Motors, eventually moving into the staffing business as an Account Manager & Recruiter. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys golfing, watching sports, especially hockey & college football, working around the house, but most of all, spending time with his family.

Chelsy Paradis has been with Gonzalez since September 2019 and is a Staffing Professional. She moved from California to Michigan in 1997 and grew up in Waterford. She has two beagles: Hannah (14) and Penny (4). In her spare time, she enjoys music, reading, kayaking, volleyball, camping, and everything else outdoors.

Sarah Dzuris has been with Gonzalez since February 2015 and is an Account Manager and a Staffing Professional. Sarah grew up in the Rochester area and attended the University of Detroit Mercy. After earning her degree, she started in the staffing industry in 2013. Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and playing soccer in her spare time.

Kaitlyn Finley has been with Gonzalez since January 2020 and is a Staffing Professional and a Social Media Manager. Kaitlyn grew up in the Macomb area and attended Wayne State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications. In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and her dogs.

Alex Blanzy has been with Gonzalez since May 2010 and is an Account Manager and Staffing Professional. He has spent his entire career in the staffing industry, taking on a variety of different responsibilities. In his spare time, Alex enjoys playing golf and spending time with his dogs.

PJ Desmet has been with Gonzalez since May 2017 and is an Administrative Assistant. PJ grew up in Shelby Township Michigan and attended Denison University. He has worked with many different departments at Gonzalez including accounting, marketing, quality, and human resources. In his free time, PJ enjoys swimming and golfing.

Sandy Cash has been with Gonzalez since November of 1994 and is working in Human Resources / Payroll Management. She has lived in Michigan all her life and just introduced a new member to her family – Cricket, a new puppy. Sandy spends her free time hiking and being outdoors.

Jenny Sand has been with Gonzalez since January 2021 and is an Account Manager and Staffing Professional in the Charlotte, NC region. She graduated from the State University of New York at Broome, with a degree in Business Administration. She excels at communicating effectively with both candidates and clients to ensure a great fit! In her free time, Jenny enjoys spending time hiking with her dogs, kayaking, and running a small crochet business.
